Artist Biography

I am originally from the North West of England, being born and raised in Cheshire and then later attending University at Manchester.

I moved to the North East in 2002 and now live in the village of Headlam with my husband Thomas. We share our home with our dogs, Megan and Perdy, and my horses, Rupert and Connor, are stabled in the village.

Having kept horses since I was young and having always holidayed as a child in the Yorkshire Dales, I have always had a love for the countryside. It is this that draws me to create artwork using natural materials.

Living in Headlam and walking and riding in the surrounding countryside provides me with a constant source of inspiration for my art. Megan and Perdy come in very handy for carrying home sticks that I find to use in my work!
